Rae Aja Horton was born and raised in Rockford, IL. Over the past five years, she has had the pleasure of training employees and supporting her teams. Currently, a sales lead for Express, she enjoys using her skills to contribute to the retail organization's development.

 

Rae Aja has experience in marketing and event planning for student housing with Huntsville Place Apartments. She also has experience with job and internship placement and recruiting for undergraduate students at Alabama A&M University. She is the former operations manager for Edna Rose Beauty Boutique.

 

She is a powerful force in the workplace because of her positive attitude and heart of service, encouraging others to find their purpose and place in the workplace and excel. Rae Aja has a passion for purpose, people, and progression. 

 

Rae Aja earned a Bachelor of Science in Management and a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Alabama A&M University. There she adopted the mantra "Start here, go anywhere". Rae Aja believes service is the vehicle for getting to your desired destination. She aspires to gain additional experience in recruiting, training, and development.

 

She has volunteered at Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama, All Nations Worship Assembly – Huntsville, Girlfriends Network, The Park Church, El' Shaddai Worship Assembly, and Saved in the City. 

 

Entrepreneurs have heavily influenced Rae Aja, beginning at a young age. She is devoted to inspiring youth to identify their purpose. Her heart is set on being an example and providing the tools needed to achieve their goals through building confidence personally and professionally. When she's not serving, Rae Aja is an avid plant woman and enjoys outdoor activities.
