Melody Shari has always been a crowd favorite. From as early as high school, where she sang and acted, she has been able to captivate an audience. In college, her sweet girl next door demeanor made her a favorite in the classroom and on campus. This perception followed her as she began her career as a middle school teacher beloved by her students. Given her success in the classroom, it’s no surprise that when she left academia to pursue entrepreneurship, she took the industry by storm. 

 

Fast forward to almost a decade later, and Melody’s entrepreneurial ambitions have led her to become the CEO of a multi-million-dollar property preservation business, the star and producer of the Oprah Winfrey Network’s (OWN) Love & Marriage: Huntsville, and the literal beauty behind the Seventh Avenue Beauty brand. The mom of four isn’t ready to stop there.  She launched Masterclass with Melody in June of 2020 and has used the platform to teach over 500 entrepreneurial hopefuls tried and true methods for building a profitable brand.  

 

To say her grind is unmatched is a major understatement. Melody has continued to appear on television as the host of OWN’s Behind Every Man. She has delved into the world of music, releasing her first two singles, “Tell Tale Signs” and “Side Chick,” offering personal reflections on her recent divorce. 

 

Melody’s work doesn’t end there. She recently partnered with the iconic Posner Cosmetics brand for a new lipstick line as well as launching her own line of skin care, Melody Shari Seventh Avenue Premier Skin Care. Her success has led to her being named as an ambassador for both the city of Birmingham, AL and Covenant Healthshare. Amongst it all, she has still managed to develop the wildly successful God Said Go brand, a spirituality-driven apparel line

 

Audiences have gotten to know much more about Melody through her features in magazines like Forbes, Essence, Medium, Bossip, Rollingout, Hollywood Life, Yahoo! Life, MadameNoire, Sheen, K.I.S.H., and Fever, on iHeart Radio, and on programs like CBS 42 and FOX 5 Atlanta. Her media appearances offer a glimpse, but her social media platforms give her fans an even more personal look into her hectic lifestyle. What’s more? Melody even has a book collaboration on the way, an anthology called Pretty and Prestigious, where powerful women share their stories of reaching success.
