KAMRIN J. MUHAMMAD
Kamrin Muhammad, native of Rockford IL, is a mother, socially driven leader, and community advocate. She is Executive Director of College and Career Readiness for the YMCA of Rock River Valley, and can be credited with past contributions to the Rockford Park District, where she supervised youth and teen programming at Washington Park Community Center and KFACT (Keeping Families and Communities Together) where she mentored underserved teenage girls.

In addition to her tenure in youth development, Kamrin was previously elected as school board member for Rockford Public Schools, and has served in multiple leadership positions for Krimson Kourts Incorporated National Service Organization (KKINSO) including past National President. Kamrin is committed to finding solutions towards a better educational experience for students and driven by her love for community, she takes pride in helping others become the best version of themselves. Kamrin refers to herself as a self-proclaimed “hope dealer,” speaking life into others and spreading positivity to all she encounters.

Kamrin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Judson University with plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Social Work. She is also a recipient of the 2022 "40 Leaders Under 40" Award presented by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time, she enjoys bonding with her teenage son, watching Netflix, and perfecting TikTok routines.
